GENERAL CARE

  1. Light - Bright, indirect sunlight. When growing outdoors, be sure to provide your plant some shade in the afternoons when heat and sunlight are highest.

  2. Soil - Use cactus mix or a general purpose potting mix modified with perlite and sand to provide proper drainage.

  3. Water - Like most succulents, Aloe plants do not require frequent watering and can tolerate drought conditions. Wait until the soil is completely dry before watering. Water thoroughly once every few weeks. Avoid getting water on the leaves to prevent mold growth.

  4. Temperature and Humidity - Aloe thrives in temperatures between 70 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit and dry air with humidity below 40%.

  5. Fertilizer - Aloe typically do not require fertilizer to help them grow.
